How accurate are these rates? Rates come from the European Central Bank via the free Frankfurter API and reflect the daily reference rate. They are mid-market rates — banks and card networks typically add a 1–3% margin, so your actual transaction may differ.
How often do rates update? The ECB publishes reference rates once per business day (around 16:00 CET). Weekends and holidays show the last published rate.
Is my data sent anywhere? No. The conversion runs in your browser; only the public rate table is fetched. Nothing you type is stored or transmitted.
